Cannot view Excel summary information (properties) in Word due to design.
Cause:
Summary information for an Excel workbook cannot be viewed from Word. However, the document size and the last saved date appear correctly for the workbook.
Solution:
Excel summary information cannot be viewed using the 'File' menu 'Properties' selection command in Microsoft Word.
